SJay Shorts Publisher

SJay Shorts Publisher is a private desktop application used to prepare and publish short-form music videos to YouTube.

The application is operated by the owner of the SJay YouTube channel and is not offered as a public service.

What the application does

SJay Shorts Publisher automates parts of the video publishing workflow for the SJay music project.

The application can:

• prepare short-form videos from existing music video content;
• upload selected videos to the authenticated YouTube channel;
• store publishing information such as the YouTube video ID and upload status;
• prevent accidental duplicate uploads.

Google and YouTube access

SJay Shorts Publisher uses Google OAuth 2.0 to obtain permission from the account owner before accessing YouTube.

The application currently requests access only for functionality required to upload videos to the authorized YouTube channel.

Access is never performed without authorization from the Google account owner.

Private application

SJay Shorts Publisher is currently a private application intended for use by its owner. It is not a public video hosting platform and does not provide accounts to third-party users.

Data and privacy

OAuth credentials and publishing information are stored locally on the owner's computer. SJay Shorts Publisher does not sell Google user data or use Google user data for advertising.
